First, the hard (yet fun) part: choosing the right design. In the days before the Internet, there was really not much of a choice among the various birth announcement designs. Parents selected from preprinted baby announcement sets that pretty much varied only with the gender of the baby. The Internet changed all that. The new mom and dad have literally hundreds of designs at their fingertips, designs announcing the arrival of a boy or a girl, multiple babies or an adoption.
